Picnic along the Canal des Deux Mers
In Lot et Garonne there are many rivers, canals and aqueducts. One of the most magnificent roman engineered aqueducts, the Pont du Canal, is located in Agen. The canal with its locks, canal boats, parks and avenues are all just a short bike ride from Castelrey.
There are really nice path ways along the canals which make it truly a great experience to walk and cycle here in cooling shade from majestic trees. Here you will find small gems behind every turn. There is a lot of people recreating in these splendid surroundings, with music and dance, leisure sports, food and drinks, all fascinating to experience.
